About the Artist

Hello! I'm Katie, a queer and disabled artist residing in northern Minnesota. I craft striking, durable, handmade shuttle tatted jewelry. I share my life with my husband, son, and our energetic black lab/blue heeler mix dog.

I love fiber arts! To me, they embody the perfect blend of form and function. The creativity and expression found in these art forms are awesome. I started crocheting in 2000 at 9 years old and have been in love with tatting since 2020. I also find joy in cross-stitch and visibile mending, embroidery, and modifying my clothes to reflect my unique personal style.
